My search for a new job is becoming very frustrating. Living in the worst state is not helping. I was informed that the budget at my current job was cut from last years which explains the loss of hours. It's hard starting over after 6 years. I really hope that something pans out soon.

On the Juice

So far I've missed about 1 week of work due to this lovely thing called Vertigo. At first they gave me some medicine to treat motion sickness but that only made the dizziness worse. The next day I went back to the doctor and they gave me Valium and Dramamine (another motion sickness pill). Together they are supposed to combat the Vertigo. The Valium is pretty wicked. Knocks me out with-in about 15 minutes and I guess that's good since they wanted me flat on my back as much as possible. There are much better things, other than sleeping, I could be doing flat on my back. The Dramamine is helping with the nausea I have been having to all the spinning of the world around me. Yet, as of this week nothing has gotten any better. So on Wednesday I got to pick up a prescription for some short burst steroids. I'm on the juice. I had to start with 6 pills at once the first day and then work my way down. Now as of today's appointment I get to take the pills along with a steroid nasal spray. So I am double juicing it! Better watch out Arnold! I am going to pump YOU up! Yay for 'roid rage!

Help Wanted?

I am checking out of the Inn. I have made the decision that it is time for me to move on. This unfortunately may mean a pay cut but my happiness meter will potentially grow as well as my chance to advance. In the economy I know I should just be happy to have a job, however; I have never been one to do things just because it's easier. I will have a new job within the beginning of the new year. Yay me! Oh, and everyone needs to try the new Candy Cane Kisses! Yummy!

Nothing exciting to post really. I work, I play, I eat, I sleep and sometimes I even poop. That's me!

Island girl

This weekend is going to be awesome!! Matt and I are headed up to Mackinaw Island for Sunday and Monday. We leave right after church. With my hotel discount and the free ferry passes I scored (because of my awesomeness) we are saving quite a bit. The gas is the only thing that will hurt but it will be worth it. I can't wait!! I will definitely post pictures when I have them. Maybe I'll even come back with some yummy fudge!

Okay, let's see here. I haven't posted in about forever but today I needed to vent. If anyone reads this I'll be amazed. I woke up this morning not really feeling like going in to work but I rolled myself out of bed and went through the motions. I head out to my new GMC Jimmy and throw a bag into my trunk. As I shut the trunk I hear the sound of falling glass. Since it's dark out yet at 6:30am I'm unaware of what has happened. I walk to the drivers side door to start my vehicle and let it warm up a bit when I realize what the sound was. Thousands of tiny glass pieces are scattered around my feet. Someone had broke my window only to find that I did not have a kick ass radio for them to steal! I've had a long morning and it's only 8:45am. If I had anger pants to put on I would be wearing them now.
