On the road again

So, I see it's been awhile since my last post. Is there some rule about tibing or something?

I hit the road on Friday for the longest trip I've done alone. It was actually very tranquil until the thunderstorm hit about 4 hours into the drive. 6 and 1/2 hours later I arrived at my destination and proceeded to check-in to my hotel. Sick of driving I was thrilled to see they had a shuttle service. I asked the front desk clerk how long the shuttle ran and he said 24hrs and it will take me "anywhere" I wish to go. I give him my destination and he says "No, I'm sorry, the shuttle doesn't go there." Ummm....didn't you say it will take me "anywhere" I wish to go! I guess the word anywhere only applies to "anywhere" he wants to go.
